On Saturday 17th May, we welcomed 25 Beavers and Cubs plus their parents to Stanfords Scout Campsite for a District Campfire to raise funds for Courtney’s upcoming trip to the Portugal Moot 2025, selected as part of the UK Contingent
We sang a wide range of campfire songs, watched entertaining comedy sketches, and cooked s’mores over the fire embers. It was a great evening for all, the Beavers and Cubs were extremely engaged, and we hope to hold more District events like this in the future!
A big thank you to all the attendees, we were able to raise over £140 for the Moot! Just as big a thank you also goes out to all the helpers, this event would not have been possible without you all!
