1st Southgate visit Gravetye Estate

1st Southgate Beavers and Cub Scouts had a wonderful, warm afternoon at the Gravetye Estate Thursday. Supported by our volunteers, they learned new skills using a variety of hand tools to do coppicing. The wood will then be used to make a dead hedge. They were all extremely well behaved & were excellent at working in teams & sharing. Thank you to Gravetye Estate for this no cost opportunity and for being so welcoming for young and old alike.
