Scouting in Crawley is Growing

We are pleased to announce that 2nd Ifield Scout Group have now started their second Beaver Colony. This week saw eleven new beavers were invested into their Sycamore Colony.

The two Beaver colonies at 2nd Ifield (Sycamore and Chestnut) will work closely together running the same programme with the leadership team working to provide a high standard of Scouting. The colonies will have regular joint meetings and have already spent an evening together at Tesco, where they were able to see behind the scenes and followed the Farm to Fork programme to learn more about where our food comes from.

The opening of the colony is due the Group being able to increase the leadership team, thanks to more adults volunteering, which we very grateful for.

We are always looking to increase the Scouting we can provide in Crawley, are you able to help us increase scouting in Crawley to more young people, in any of the other sections throughout scouting, please visit our volunteering page.
