Senior Cub Competition Day

On Sat 16th May 2015, 4 teams took part in a Senior Cub Competition Day at Stanfords. Each team consisted of 5-6 Cubs who had to:-

  1. Erect a Patrol Tent
  2. Make and Start a Fire
  3. Iron a Scarf
  4. Map and Navigation Test
  5. Make a Camp Gadget

The weather was brilliant and the Cubs very well behaved. As well as doing these activities there was time for some well earned lunch cooked on the open fires, Marshmallows in Choc Chip Cookies and some wide games. All participants will be presented with a certificate and 2nd Ifield will go forward to represent the District in the County Championships in Sept.
