On Sunday 3rd April, West Sussex Scouts are holding a free activity event for all 14 – 25 year old members to help shape Scouting in West Sussex and launch the new County Youth Forum. New Beaver Colony – Langley Green

West Sussex Cub 100 Launch Event

On Saturday 16th January, 8 Cubs from 2nd Ifield and 1st Southgate along with 4 leaders attended the West Sussex Launch Event at Out of Bounds to celebrate 100 years of Cubs. During the action packed morning, they took part in numerous high rope activities including the Lightening Crack, Skyscraper, Speed Climbing, Checkerplate, Leap of Faith and Vertical Drop Slides. After an action packed morning, they settled down to eat lunch before singing happy birthday to Cubs around a Cubs100 cake.

Winter Camp – Gilwell Park

7 explorers and 3 leaders attended Gilwell Wintercamp Friday 8th January to 10th January in all it’s mud and glory. Along with several thousand others! At Wintercamp 2016 they were able to try a huge number of activities including miniature tank driving, a giant swing, shooting, archery, crafts, quad bikes, go karts, laser tag and a disco, camp fire and cinema. Some photos of these activities are included below. There were many other activities too. The day and night programme kept them totally entertained.
