Shackleton Explorers Activity Camp

This weekend Stanford Campsite hosted Shackleton Explorers and their summer ’18 activity camp. Not only did they have fantastic weather, but a great programme which included clay pigeon shooting, a hike, rock climbing, and a campfire! Ifield Beavers Damboree

2nd Ifield Chestnut and Sycamore Colonies took part in the first Beaver Damboree (Beavers in tents) with 33 Beavers at Boidier Hurst Scout Site, near Box Hill. The Beavers enjoyed great weather, made their own lunch and then went on a two hour hike. The Beavers made hedgehog houses,  pioneering …

Recycled Computer

1st Crawley Cubs had a fabulous evening building a computer out of recycled material as part of their digital maker badge. The cubs had to work in their sixes to produce their allocated computer parts and tell everyone what the function of each part was.
