1st Handcross Invests First Scouts

Following the opening of 1st Handcross last year with Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs the time came in June to expand the group and open a Scout Troop. Following a successful open evening the new Troop began in June with a series of taster sessions before running a full programme from September.

The team at 1st Handcross were delighted to be able to Invest the very first Scouts into the new Troop over the last couple of weeks, with eight Scouts being Invested so far. Uniforms worn and Scout Promises made they’re all set for all the fun and adventure that Scouts has to offer.

There are still several Scouts left to be Invested, which will take place in the coming weeks, and we hope that the new Troop continues to grow.
