5 members of Crawley District Network attended Gathering 2025 over the Easter weekend from 18th to 21st April where the event was ‘Children’s TV’ themed! The daytimes were spent hiking and exploring the local area, with the campsite conveniently set just outside Dee Valley with lots of great walking areas, and each evening hosted a different style of entertainment such as bingo night and even Taskmaster. Crawley Network managed to win 2 rounds of bingo and even come second in the Taskmaster! On the final day, the whole campsite comes together for ‘Sunday Shenanigans’, an elimination style set of wide-games and although no victors on that day, all the team enjoyed playing!
Perhaps the most entertaining is the fancy dress evening where the Crawley District group pulled together great costumes such as Curious George and his Keeper, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Bob the Builder! Next, they’re saddling up for Network Festival over the first week of July – yeehaw!
