Last week marked an exciting milestone for 5th Crawley as we launched our very first Squirrels group! Our newest and youngest members had a fantastic time getting to know one another. We played games, coloured in our name cards, and shared an exciting story together. It was a fun and gentle introduction to the world of Scouting for our enthusiastic Squirrels.
This week, our focus was all about emotions. We explored how we feel and how our reactions can influence others and ourselves. One of the highlights was playing Chain Reaction, where we learned how our responses to situations can create a ripple effect. We also danced our hearts out to Shake It Off, matched emotions to different everyday scenarios, and even built a cosy blanket fort to wind down.
It’s been a fantastic start, and we can’t wait for more adventures ahead!
