Young Achievers Awarded

Congratulations to all the young people who received award certificates. Beaver Scouts’ Chief Scout Bronze Award and Cub Scouts’ Chief Scout Silver Awards certificates were presented by Tom Dalton our County lead volunteer and Ollie Gldman our District lead volunteer. These awards are the highest the young people can achieve in each of the sections. A great achievement by everyone.

The Chief Scout Bronze award is is the highest award a Beaver Scout can earn. To earn it, they’ll need complete all of the challenge awards, as well as any four activity badges of their choice.

How to earn your badge:

  1. Complete all the challenge awards.They are:My World Challenge Award
    My Skills Challenge Award
    My Outdoors Challenge Award 
    My Adventure Challenge Award
    Teamwork Challenge Award 
    Personal Challenge Award
  2. Do any four activity badges or staged activity badges.Explore the Beavers Activity badges.

The Chief Scout Silver award is is the highest award a Cub Scout can earn. To complete it, they need to earn six Activity or Staged Activity Badges of your choice, as well as all seven of the Challenge Awards. The Chief Scout’s Silver Award shows that they have given new things a go, played their part, and stuck it out, even when the going got tough. It’s a really big achievement, and they should be proud.

How to earn your badge:

  1. Finish the seven challenge awards.They are:
  2. Earn six activity or staged activity badges of your choice. They could be badges they gained outside their normal meetings or ones they’ve worked towards at meetings. Explore the Cubs activity badges
