Congratulations to those who took part in the Surrey Scout Shoot on Sunday 4th September. Paul Carruthers won the greybeard trophy for the best aggregate score for an over 25. The competition is for all members of the Scout movement over 14 and involves 5 different shooting events which are:
- 300m Full Bore
- 25m Small Bore (Rimfire)
- .177 Air Pistol
- .385 Repeating Rifles (Gallery Competition)
- .22 small bore chalks
Next month, there are approximately 40 members of Crawley District Scouts attending the National Scout Competition at Bisley. We wish them all the best of luck and hope they return with more trophies!
