Although there is no longer a legal requirement for many things, as Scouts, with a duty of care to others and to young people, we recommend and expect the application of good hygiene and covid-safe approaches to all our meetings, events, activities and residential experiences.

Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Scout Network Members are Honoured

On Sunday 6th March 2016, 13 young people from Crawley were presented with their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, and their Chief Scout Gold and Platinum awards. The awards were presented by Rear Admiral John Lippiett CB CBE DL.

  • Bronze D of E: Alex Foxcroft, Caitlin Pitt, Hannah Muller & Imogen Mason (Drake Explorers)
  • Silver D of E: Matthew Pitt & Hayley Hobson (Drake Explorers)
  • Gold D of E: Tom Corney (Crawley Scout Network), Ania Jasko & Sam Lashwood (Drake Explorers)
  • Chief Scout Gold: Alex Lake (4th Worth), Alice Whelan (2nd Ifield)
  • Chief Scout Platinum: Tom Corney (Crawley Scout Network), Stewart Feasby (Shackleton Explorers)

Stewart Feasby was also presented with his Young Leaders Belt Buckle.
