1st Handcross Cubs Summer Fun

Over the Bank Holiday weekend 1st Handcross Cubs spent a day at Broadstone Warren where they had the opportunity to take part in several different activities in the glorious sunshine.

Prior to their visit, Cubs were asked to vote on their top six activities from the list available and we then chose the four most popular to do on the day. Cubs were able to try archery and aeroball, fly through the forest on the zip wire and test their climbing skills on the gauntlet. Although some Cubs had done some of the activities before there was something new for everyone.

Cubs had an amazing time and well done to everyone who pushed themselves, tried something new and conquered their fears, whether that be stepping off the zip wire platform, getting up there in the first place or making it to the top of the gauntlet.

Everyone left tired but happy and looking forward to the start of the new term in September!
