1st Handcross Cubs Easter Camp

1st Handcross Cubs held their first ever camp over the first weekend of the Easter break where 13 Cubs from the Pack came together in the beautiful surroundings of Stanford campsite in perfect weather for lots of outdoor activities.

They all arrived to camp very excited for the weekend ahead and Cubs enjoyed lots of different activities over the weekend including den building, woodcraft, archery, games and of course a campfire. They also had lots of time to simply explore the site and play their own games and it was great to see them all enjoying time together outdoors. The weekend was then rounded off with an Easter egg hunt to finish camp.

For many Cubs this was their first experience of camping in Scouting so they also got to learn lots of new skills, new campfire songs and earned new badges along the way. Everyone went home tired but happy and looking forward to the next opportunity to go camping.
