A Celebration of St George

On Sunday 21st April the District gathered for the Annual St George’s Day Parade, where we celebrated our patron Saint. All the young people processed through Goffs Park up to the Goffs House. We were joined by our Mayor. We heard from Ian Philips, minister of Crawley Baptist Church, where he told us using the example of St George we should try our best to use our #skillsforlife to help other people. Following on the Squirrel Scouts and Beaver Scouts renewed their promise, then the Cub Scouts renewed theirs, and finally the Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Scout Network and Leaders renewed their promise to do their best and to help other people.
