Chief Scout’s Gold Awards

Recently Barney, 7th Crawley, and Alex, 1st Crawley were presented with their Chief Scout’s Gold Awards by Superintendent Alex Gerldart of Sussex Police at a ceremony in Horsham. Dawn and Lauren of Drake Expolorers received their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Awards and Zac of SRF Expolorers got his Young Leader Belt Buckle. Sadly Lauren couldn’t be there at the ceremony.

The Chief Scout’s Gold award represents the pinnacle of the young person’s achievements in the Scout Section and requires a lot of hard work, dedication and determination. It’s not just handed out willy nilly and not everyone going through Scouts gets on

Many congratulations to all of you.
