Shackleton Explorer Scouts – 2021 summary and we have spaces for new members in 2022

Over the past 6 months, many groups have adapted to deliver scouting despite the challenges around COVID. Shackleton Explorers has operated an exciting programme of activities over this time including hikes, navigation training, cooking, axe throwing, bowling, team challenges, survival skills, camping, climbing, abseiling and much more!

Over 2021, we have invested 19 new members into the unit to learn #skillsforlife.

Next year we look forward to many more camps including Kent International Jamboree, Mountain Activity Camps, and D of E Expeditions from our Bronze and Silver teams.

If you want to follow our adventures, visit and bookmark our website where we post regularly.

We always have space for more people to join aged 13.5 to 18. Just fill in a joining form today!
