1st Handcross Squirrels visited Crawley Library this week. The Squirrels have been working towards their space badge and the Library staff put together a space evening for us. The squirrels enjoyed learning some facts about the planets and reading some space books.

Our poppy field has been planted. Over the summer the young people collected bottles which have been recycled into poppies, 350 poppies were then planted around St Margaret’s Church, Ifield for the community to use for reflection.

On Monday night 2nd Ifield Grey Squirrel Drey wrote birthday cards to His Majesty the King, made crowns and then hiked to the letterbox to post the cards. They wait in anticipation hoping to receive a reply.
