Over the weekend of 26th / 27th October, 16 Drake and Shackleton Explorers and 3 Ifield Scouts travelled to the Peak District for a weekend of climbing and hill walking. Basing ourselves out of Gradbach Scout Campsite, the young people enjoyed a number of hikes around Milldale, Kinder Scout and the local area as well as half a day climbing at the Roaches.
Although the weather wasnt on our side on Saturday (with torrential rain!), the remainder of the weekend was excellent weather and everyone had a enjoyable time. A few photos of the weekend are available below.
