Last week, 1st Southgate Scouts were able to attend a Scouting Skills evening led by the SRF Leaders. During which, they were taught how to use knife, axe and saws safely. This is just one of the many activities Scouts and Explorers are able to partake in.
This interactive hands on programme allows youth members to learn important skills such as leadership, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving. Not to mention it also boosts their confidence.
