Wappenshaw 2020

On Saturday 4th January, 4th Worth hosted the annual Crawley District Wappenshaw Competition.

16 young people in 4 teams had a great morning taking part in 6 events as noted below.

  • 6yd Rifle
  • 6yd Pistol
  • 10m Crossbows
  • 10m Whizzers
  • Sprint and Shoot
  • Field Firing

It was a very close competition with the winning team consisting of Millie, Molly, Stevie and Lorenzo from 2nd Ifield. In the individual shooting Gold went to Eve from 4th Worth and Silver to Molly.

Thanks to the leaders and adults who ran the event and specially to Pete Raine who was unwell but still attended in order to make sure the event was a success.
