Although there is no longer a legal requirement for many things, as Scouts, with a duty of care to others and to young people, we recommend and expect the application of good hygiene and covid-safe approaches to all our meetings, events, activities and residential experiences.

1st Southgate Group Camp

Last weekend, 1st Southgate Cubs and Scouts shared Stanford with 2nd Crawley Beavers. The site is in fantastic condition thanks to the SAS. Total co-operation between all the leaders, sharing experiences across the Groups and Sections, putting Young People First which is what Scouting is all about.

Cubs and Scouts were invested but only if they survived the weekend ‘I’m a Southgater, get me out of here!’. Brilliant to see the progression and growth through the Group.

Great work by all the adult and YL volunteers, in particularly the Woodbadge and 1, probably 2, Nights Away activity permits validated in action.
