2nd Ifield Scout Group has recently had the opportunity to recognise the work of our volunteers with both Dominic Smith, one of the Cub Scout leaders with Lion Cubs, and Sarah Smith, who is a trustee and has been chair of the social & Fundraising committee, receiving their 5 year service awards.
Mark Eastman was awarded his 30 year’s Chief Scout’s Length of Service Award. Mark has been a part of the group and supported it’s growth for many years. He is the lead for their Watersports and also carries out a lot of behind the scene work. He can regularly been seen about with his camera recording all the varied activities the young people get up to within the group and Crawley district. and now also further afield as part of the County media team.
