40 Years of Volunteering

It is great pleasure to present Maureen Dean with her 40 year long service award.

Maureen has been part of the district in a variety of roles. Her roles have included helping run a cub pack, Assistant District Commissioner, District Commissioner, helped welcome new adult members to Scouting, assisted leaders with their training and has been a Group Scout Leader and a Group Chairman for a while. She has also supported scouting at County and Regional levels.

Maureen really values her time as District Commissioner developing the district and taking it forward.

The District are grateful for the work she has given Scouting so far and look forward to her support in future years.

Maureen was presented with her certificate by Chris Hobbs, the current District Training manager.
