We are really sorry that there are currently gaps in our stock of some uniform lines. We’ve had the following information from our central supplier:
As we all know the past year has been a completely unpredictable trading landscape, we took a huge risk in going back into production of uniform at the beginning of this year, when we were still in lockdowns and had no real assurance that Scouting would resume with this strength in Autumn. Thankfully we can say that demand has returned and levels have surpassed any of our expectations.
However this surge in demand, coupled with the worldwide shipping crisis has meant that we are currently experiencing out of stocks on some of our key uniform items. Please bear with us, despite our best planning and forecasting efforts, these container delays are completely out of our control. We currently have a container of core uniform items on the water that is already 6 weeks delayed and still no confirmation of when it will arrive. We are doing everything we can to re schedule and fly in future deliveries.
We hope to replenish our stock as soon as possible and apologise for the inconvenience.
