Remembrance Day 2019

Remembrance Sunday is the second Sunday of November. Nationally, ceremonies are held at war memorials, cenotaphs and religious buildings to invite the community to take part in acts of Remembrance.

Remembrance Day events are important community events, and most community organisations, such as the Scouts, will be traditionally involved.

Throughout Crawley, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Adult Leaders attended services to show their respects to those who have fallen in acts of conflict:

  • 4th Worth and Shackleton Explorers attended Worth Church
  • 7th Crawley attended St Andrew’s Church
  • 2nd Ifield and Drake Explorers attended St Margaret’s Church
