Cub Leaders celebrate Christmas

Many thanks to Ian Head for arranging – again – for Crawley District Cub leaders to gather and celebrate another successful year in Scouting.  We may well need a bigger venue next year as this is becoming very popular.  17 of Crawley’s Cub Leaders, who regularly meet to plan District inclusive activities, met socially for a great Christmas dinner at Goff’s Manor.  (explanation of photo; Goff’s Manor Christmas Tree had nothing on the top, so, of course, Cub Leaders would not only notice this but also make a fairy from re-cycled crackers.  Will she survive Christmas?)

One of the results of this teamwork is that 3 Packs from 2 different Groups, Langley Green and 5th Crawley are off to Blacklands Farm with 17 cubs for a action packed weekend – this weekend! so, no hangovers allowed!  A true example of how District co-operation and support works for the children.
